The honest answer is yes, but not in the way most people fear.

Every plant we sell is toxic to cats, dogs and children. So is almost every popular houseplant, and the reason is the same across the whole Araceae family: calcium oxalate, stored in the leaf as microscopic needle-shaped crystals called raphides.
What matters is the mechanism, because it explains both why the risk is real and why it is almost never a catastrophe. The crystals are not a systemic poison. There is no toxin travelling to the liver. Biting a leaf drives thousands of sharp crystals into the lips, tongue and throat, and the result is immediate and mechanical: burning, drooling, pawing at the mouth, swelling, refusal to eat.
That mechanism is also the animal's protection. It hurts on the first bite, so almost nothing keeps chewing. The typical case is one experimental mouthful, a miserable hour, and a cat that never touches that plant again.
What to do in the first five minutes: wipe the mouth out with a damp cloth, then offer something cold and palatable. Milk, yoghurt or a little cold water helps, because calcium binds some of the oxalate and cold reduces the burn. Do not induce vomiting. The crystals have already done their damage on the way down, and bringing them back up drags them across the same tissue a second time.
When it stops being a home matter and becomes a vet visit: swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, drooling that continues past an hour or two, vomiting that will not stop, or a small animal that has eaten a real quantity rather than one bite. Airway swelling is the genuine danger and it is rare. If you are unsure, phone the vet and describe the plant by its botanical name, not by a nickname.
Children are the same mechanism with better outcomes, because the taste is so unpleasant that a toddler spits it out. The Israel Poison Information Center at Rambam takes calls around the clock on 04-7771900.
Living with both is a placement problem, not a choice between them. High shelves and hanging pots work for cats far less well than people think, since a cat will reach most shelves. What works: a closed cabinet, which is where most serious collectors keep the expensive plants anyway and which the plants prefer for humidity, and a dedicated room the animal does not enter. Also worth knowing: the substrate is its own risk. A dog that digs will eat bark and LECA, and that is an obstruction problem rather than a toxicity one.
One thing we will not do is tell you a plant is pet safe when it is not. If you want genuinely non-toxic greenery in the same home, Calathea, Maranta, Peperomia, Pilea and most ferns carry no oxalate and can sit at floor level.
